Administrative Director: Cathy Peifer

Cathy Peifer has been part of the Noah's Ark family since 2002 .  She started out as a parent helper and has been on our staff  for seventeen years.  You will find Cathy in the Noah's Ark office completing her Secretary and Administrative Director duties each day. Cathy lives in New Providence with her husband, Rick and daughter, Rebekah. She enjoys swimming & sewing.

Director of Education: Patti Chase
​Patti Chase is the founder of Noah’s Ark and was the Director for 23 years.  Patti and her husband, John, have two daughters, live in Quarryville and are members of St. Paul’s Church.  With her degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, Patti taught Pre-K.

Ashley Boos: Pre K

Ashley Boos joined the Noah's Ark team 2015. She is elated to be back teaching at the ark for the 2021-2022 school year. This will be her third year teaching Tues/Thurs Pre-K. Her previous positions at Noah’s Ark included: three years of Playgroup, three years as the parent representative, a two by two instructor and a substitute teacher in all age groups! Ashley earned her Bachelor’s Degree  from Millersville University in Elementary and Early Childhood Education in 2008. She resides in Quarryville with her husband Mike and five children Parker, Remington, Colton, Kendall and Dax (Parker, Remington, Colton and Kendall are Noah’s Ark alumni and the other one is currently a Noah’s Ark student!) She also has one fur baby- Scout, a mini goldendoodle! Ashley attends Oak Hill Fellowship Church, where she serves in the children’s ministry and helps lead a small group with her husband. In her spare time, you will find Ashley attending her children’s sporting/school events, working in her garden, or enjoying a night out with her husband!

Bonnie Mellina: Pre K
Bonnie Mellina is excited to return to Noah’s Ark as a Monday/Wednesday/Friday Pre-K teacher. She joined the Noah's Ark team in 2021. She is a Millersville University graduate with a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education.  She lives in Quarryville with her husband, 8 year old daughter and 5 year old son.  Both children previously attended Noah’s Ark. Bonnie is blessed to have the opportunity to teach the kids at Noah’s Ark and work with the dedicated staff there. In her spare time she enjoys reading, going to the beach and spending time with her family.

Annie Hammel: Pre K

Annie Hammel joined the Noah’s Ark Pre-K team on Tuesdays & Thursdays in the 2021-2022 school year. She loves working with children of all ages and watching them learn and grow. She received her teaching degree from Millersville University and began her teaching career at Providence Elementary School where she was a fourth grade teacher for 9 ½ years.  During her time at Providence, she worked on completing her Masters of Education through Marygrove College and received her degree in Curriculum, Assessment, & Instruction. In her years out of the classroom, she has been taking care of her family, homeschooling her youngest daughter and coaching the Solanco girls’ tennis team.  She enjoys teaching Sunday School and helping with the youth group at Faith Church.  Annie lives in Quarryville with her husband, Mike, three daughters, Brianna, Destiny, and Essence, and their cat, Charlie.  She loves spending time in the sunshine, staying active, cooking and baking healthy meals and treats, listening to praise and worship music, and spending time with her family and friends.

Sandy Wolfe: Pre K
Sandy Wolfe joined the Noah's Ark team in 2018 as a MWF Pre-K teacher.
She has also worked in the St. Paul's Church office since 2014. Previously, she was blessed to engage in music with the 2 and 3 year old classes at Noah’s Ark, and facilitate a preschool music program called “Do Re Wee”. 
She has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work (with a Home and School Visitor Certification) and a minor in music. 
She is married to her husband Chad, and they have three children – twin daughters who are 14 and a son who is soon to be 11.  (After moving here from Maryland, her son came to Noah’s Ark for all 3 years of preschool—and they couldn’t have asked for a more perfect and rewarding experience for him!)
She loves to enjoy the outdoors, sing with her church choir and she loves to enjoy the blessings of her family and friends.

Jerelyn Tice: Nursery
Jerelyn Tice has been teaching the 3 year old nursery level at Noah's Ark for 33 years.  She joined the Noah's Ark team in 1989. Jerleyn and her husband, John, reside in Quarryville.  She has three children and six amazing grandchildren.  She also has four grand dogs.  Jerelyn enjoys spending her summers at Ocean City, Maryland, reading and relaxing!  She attends Wesley Church in Quarryville.

Meghan Cross: Nursery
Meghan Cross teaches the Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday Nursery class. She joined the Noah's Ark team in 2016. Previously, she was the parent rep, classroom helper, two by two instructor and substitute teacher for the preschool. She is a graduate of Millersville University with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Geography and Secondary Social Studies Education with minors in History and Emergency Management. Meghan spent a year teaching for the School District of Lancaster at Reynolds Middle School while completing the Urban Education Program through Millersville. She was also a substitute teacher for the Solanco School District before teaching elementary and middle level Gifted/Extensions. She resides in Quarryville with her husband, Carl, and 2 children, Aiden and Rylee, both Noah's Ark Graduates. Meghan also has many years of coaching experience at Solanco High School, where she coached volleyball, serves as a substitute teacher for Solanco and is a member of the Quarryville Fire Company Special Division. She enjoys boating and camping and spending time with friends and family.

Diana Grinestaff: Playgroup
Diana Grinestaff joined the Noah's Ark team in 2020 as the M/W/F Playgroup teacher.  Diana is the owner of First Impressions Salon in Quarryville.  She has a teaching license in her field.  Diana has had many roles in early childhood education with experience teaching Sunday School, being an Awana leader and childcare while her children were growing up.  Mrs. Grinestaff resides in the Quarryville area with her husband Bill. She has four children, two son-in-laws and tons of fur babies. When not at the salon you can find her spending time with her family or praising the Lord at Wesley Church.  Her children all attended Noah’s ark and a fun fact- Both of her daughters met their spouses in Playgroup at Noah's Ark.

Sue Nikolaus: Playgroup
Sue Nikolaus was part of the Noah's Ark team from 1993-2009 and returned as a Playgroup teacher in 2019. Her two children also attended Noah's Ark.  Mrs. Nikolaus lives in Quarryville with her husband Eric.  She has two grown children, a son-in-law and two grandsons, ages 3 and 1. She also has two stepchildren, ages 15 and 12. Her hobbies include fitness, fishing, and making memories with her family.  She is blessed to be teaching at Noah's Ark with a wonderful team of teachers.

Casie Garver: Parent Rep
Casie Garver is in her third year as Parent Rep for Noah's Ark.  She has experience as a parent helper and volunteer at Noah's Ark.  She lives in Bart Township with her husband, John, and children, Emma, Cole and Chet.  Emma is a Noah's Ark alumni and Cole and Chet are current Noah's Ark students.  Casie and family attend Providence Church where she actively serves in Children's Ministry and helps to lead a Sunday School class with her husband.  She enjoys cooking, gardening, and quality time with her family and friends.
